Ford Ranger More than two decades ago, the Ford Ranger debuted as an answer to various compact pickup trucks being made available by Japanese automakers. The Ranger was cleanly styled and offered with a choice of a 6-foot or 7-foot bed. Ford boasted that the Ranger had more interior room than the best-selling imports and that 4-by-8-foot construction material could be carried in the bed.

Cool 93 ranger will not start

This truck has run remarkably since I purchased it new. No problems other than matinance. This is what happened. I started it up and drove to the end of the street and stopped at the cross road. The truck stopped, turned off, I smelled electrical buring in the cab. I tried to start it up, it cranked ok but would not start.
I had a diog done and the shop said it was the fuel pump, made sence, they repaced it and it did the same thing. The next step was the pcm. They wanted to send it out to be rebuilt, 8 more days and another 800. I told them to put it together and now have it in my drive way back to stage 1. I have a master machanic working on it but we still have not come up with anything. We need help!
