Ford RangerMore than two decades ago, the Ford Ranger debuted as an answer to various compact pickup trucks being made available by Japanese automakers. The Ranger was cleanly styled and offered with a choice of a 6-foot or 7-foot bed. Ford boasted that the Ranger had more interior room than the best-selling imports and that 4-by-8-foot construction material could be carried in the bed.
hi all. my 2001 ranger wont start. i have replaced the battery, had the alternator and starter both checked and they are working fine. when i try to start the truck, there's no clicking or any noise. everything works, but the engine wont turn over or even try to. ive been told by someone that it could be a fuseable link, but someone else said i wouldnt have lights if that was the problem. i was told to try testing the solenoid (sp?), but i have no clue what that is. the truck has been sitting for months now and i want it fixed! i just dont have the money to have it towed to a shop and be charged out the butt for labor and repairs. any other suggestions? remember, im not a mechanic and dont know what everything looks like or what its called so i need details or pics when talking about a part. thanks!
