Ford RangerMore than two decades ago, the Ford Ranger debuted as an answer to various compact pickup trucks being made available by Japanese automakers. The Ranger was cleanly styled and offered with a choice of a 6-foot or 7-foot bed. Ford boasted that the Ranger had more interior room than the best-selling imports and that 4-by-8-foot construction material could be carried in the bed.
My 2004 Ranger makes a slight buzzing noise inside the dash under the following conditions:
1. AC is on (high or low)
2. Driving Over 35 MPH
3. RPM 1500 - 2500
If I the tachometer goes under 1500 RPM or over 2500 RPM the buzzing stops. It seems like it is a problem with the tachometer, but why only with the air conditioner is running?
Please help because this is going to cause me to check into a mental intuition.
sounds like a relay associated with your a/c has a bad ground for its coil, check all the
groundings behind the dash,&make sure they are all clean &making contact with the body.
