Ford Ranger More than two decades ago, the Ford Ranger debuted as an answer to various compact pickup trucks being made available by Japanese automakers. The Ranger was cleanly styled and offered with a choice of a 6-foot or 7-foot bed. Ford boasted that the Ranger had more interior room than the best-selling imports and that 4-by-8-foot construction material could be carried in the bed.

Default 1989 4x4 ranger

Hey guys I just recently bought my first truck, its an 89 4x4 ford ranger, its a 5 speed, 2.9 liter engine. I got it for $150 but it does need some work

the igntion was all busted up with a hammer and there isnt much left of it, not enough to start it with a screw driver- im going to the junk yard to find a new steering column so I can just replace it all at once, how do I do this? and if I do use the steering column from another ranger, do I need the keys to that truck?

a transfer case-where can I find one for cheap and how do I install it?

a driver side window, I already have a window to put in, how do I remove the door panel though?

and how do I change the tranny fluid? its a 5 speed.

sorry guys im a newb and wanna learn how to work on cars, I have only done small stuff before, thanks for all your help though.
