Ford RangerMore than two decades ago, the Ford Ranger debuted as an answer to various compact pickup trucks being made available by Japanese automakers. The Ranger was cleanly styled and offered with a choice of a 6-foot or 7-foot bed. Ford boasted that the Ranger had more interior room than the best-selling imports and that 4-by-8-foot construction material could be carried in the bed.
I have the stock headlight fixtures. I would like to know if anyone has had any experience putting HID lights into a 2003 Ranger. I have read conflicting issues of possible aiming problems, glare issues, etc. The issue I am good on is legality...fully legal for whatever is in your fixture here in Florida, it's all about the aim here. So, wanting to know if anyone has had any trouble with an HID system. I am looking at a new Bi Xenon system(one that adjusts for high beam operation from low beam). The company selling it also sells a secondary relay to not overload the low to high beam relay built in the Ranger. Anyone try HID and have bad aiming issues?
Edit: The company sells the relay WITH the kits. superlumination.com to take a look. I'm getting the 9007 kit for $149.95
