Ford Ranger More than two decades ago, the Ford Ranger debuted as an answer to various compact pickup trucks being made available by Japanese automakers. The Ranger was cleanly styled and offered with a choice of a 6-foot or 7-foot bed. Ford boasted that the Ranger had more interior room than the best-selling imports and that 4-by-8-foot construction material could be carried in the bed.

Default interesting squeak?

ive got one for yall. i have an 03 ford ranger edge with a 3.0 5 speed with 45000 miles.
at low rpm it has an irritable squeak. i pulled the serpentine belt off; started it..still squeaks
i disconnected my driveshaft, pulled my shifter out of the tranny and started it again. the noise is definately coming from the clutch area but i pulled the tranny last night and there are no signs of wear. throw-out bearing was good, everything was very clean. i was planning on putting the exhaust system back together and test the motor without the transmission then i realized the starter bolts directly to the tranny itself. i really really dont want to put the transmission back on only to have to remove it again so i am getting a new clutch kit while i have it off and just hope that maybe somehow the clutch was just loose tolerance. what would be the best clutch kit to use and if anyone else has experienced this plz let me know!
