| Electrical Help!!! Hello, have a 95 4X4 4L ext cab 188K miles only owner, this is my second ranger. It has started a very annoying problem. The dome light will not go off. If I start the engine the light remains on and the doorajar dash light is on. The dash light is not so bad but the dome light rans the battery down if left on and driving at night with the cab lights on is a pain. Any help here?? Thanks

| Sounds like the door light switch is either bad, broken, or mis-aligned. Question is, which door? Check the switch(s), they'll be in the door frame near the hinge or in the door latch itself. |

| There is a door sensor inside the drivers door that needs to be replaced. Not much money. Tells the truck if the door is shut. Malfunctions easy. |
