Ford Sport Trac The Ford Explorer Sport Trac is a four-door, five-passenger, midsize pickup. It was unique when it first appeared in 2000, but today it must compete with midsize four-door pickups from every major player. Essentially a Ford Explorer with a pickup bed, the Sport Trac offers plenty of room inside for people and out back for cargo.

I have a 2002 Sports Trac... If I drive down the highway for about 45 minutes or longer. Stop the truck and try to restart it at the gas station or store. It will not start. Sounds just like the old trucks when the Carb. would be flooded. Has this happened to other Sports Tracs

I would start by checking to see if you have spark when the no start condition is present. There are several sensors that can cause symptoms such as you described. What have you checked thus far?

So what happens next? It just never starts? Or does it cool off and start later?

For my sanity, please try to use punctuation and capitalization. I try to help the people who post, but it's impossible to do when the post is indecipherable.
