Ford Sport Trac The Ford Explorer Sport Trac is a four-door, five-passenger, midsize pickup. It was unique when it first appeared in 2000, but today it must compete with midsize four-door pickups from every major player. Essentially a Ford Explorer with a pickup bed, the Sport Trac offers plenty of room inside for people and out back for cargo.

Default 2002 Sport Trac Cloth Interior Question

My mother has a 2002 Sport Trac with cloth interior. I'm not exactly sure what type of fabric it is, but it appears to be woven. I haven't seen it in many Sport Tracs around here. This particular fabric stains profusely when it gets wet. Even if it's clear water. Any suggestions on how to clean the upholstery? Products, etc?

I searched and found an image on ebay of a Sport Trac with the same interior so you can see what I'm talking about. Here's a link to the photo: http://carad.ebayimg.com/i24/05/a/000/7a/68/8e69_4.JPG

The fabric is gabardine. According to many websites, it should be dry-cleaned only... which I would think is impossible to do with car upholstery, and still leaves me at a loss as to which product to use.

I've used "Tuff Stuff" with great success on almost every type of upholstery.
