 Flat 4 wheel towing issue
WE have had the flat towing kit installed on the Explorer, and it has worked fine until today. Before the trip, the truck was placed into neutral tow mode, and it towed fine. but when we arrived and i put it in reverse to back away from the motorhome, it would not go into reverse. all I got was a very loud noise, not gear grinding, but more like a very loud whirring. I have tried multiple times since and gotten the same result. it shifts into D and drives forward fine. and it does still shift into 4x4. |
