Ford Taurus X The Ford Taurus X, so named because it shares the same platform as the Ford Taurus, is a 7-passenger mid-size crossover SUV. The car is positioned between the 5-passenger mid-size Ford Edge and upcoming 7-passenger full-size Flex crossover SUV. The design of the Taurus X closely resembles that of its sibling, the Ford Edge, creating a family face for its crossover segment.

Question Shift Points in 1999 Taurus

My 1999 Taurus has 154K miles, just had the clutches, torque convertor and front pump replaced. The car now shifts fine in all gears excpet from second to high. The motor will pull ~ 4000 rpms before it shifts to high no matter how you drive it. How can I adjust this shift point back down to ~ 2000 rpms?
