| Port the heads, more bang for your buck than ANY thing else, but nitrous!

| You use a die grinder, or a milling machine to rework the ports of the heads, smooth the radii in the bowl areas, and unshroud the area around the valves. The goal is to increase the total CFM while keep a reasonable speed and charge. Too much material removed in the wrong places will create a copius amount of flow, but the carge will be low, and then low end tourqe will suffer.
I personally match the intake and exhaust gaskets to the ports, clean the bowls out, smooth the bur directly before the valves but not remove it, and remove any casting flash. This is generally a good plan for tourqe gains and an overall horsepower increase.
A note about the 3.0 is to not gasket match the exhaust ports, the ports already exit to low, and cutting the port lower yet will ruin flow and speed even more.

| I agree With the porting i noticed on mine that a Cold Air Intake really opens them up. I also put a new exhaust on mine.
