Ford Taurus Along the way, Ford has made some 500 changes to the Taurus, changes that were already scheduled for the mid-cycle freshening of the Five Hundred. The general body shape of the new Taurus is the same as that of the previous Five Hundred, a large, front-wheel-drive family sedan, but almost everything else has changed for the better.

Exclamation Buzzing Sound

My wife came in last night and said the ABS light came on and the car is making a terrible sound. I ventured out to the garage and sure enough it was. A buzzing sound was coming from the front driver's side, possibly under the battery tray. Get this...THE CAR WAS OFF!

SO I'm guessing a relay is failing or something else. But for the buzzing to be still going on after she shut it off throws me for a loop. The buzzing was a bit more substantial than if a relay was failing if that makes sense.

I started the Taurus up and plugged in the my code reader. Of course it didn't have any codes to clear or read. Figures.

So with the ABS light still on does anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Just got off the phone with the wife and she said she backed out of the drive today and the ABS light went off as she pulled away from the house.

So I know something is not right, what is it, is the question.
