1991 ford tempo

My friend has a tempo that is wearing tires on the out side and inside. also has had to put 3 control arms in it within a year. they did have it aligned. it also seems to pull to the left but not all the time. they also told me the tire pressure is checked on a regular bassis. any ideas whould be great.

Have you tried rotating your tires? Move both front tires to the rear and vice versa. I have over 2 years on my current set which I've rotated faithfully, and they are wearing evenly. Once, what I thought was a front end problem, shimying etc, was fixed by simply rotating the tires.

if its back tires.balding to inside. the back tires are prone to slipping down i have this problem every year .
