Temp switch location/fan not working

I have a 92 Mercury/temp topaz, 2.3 ltr engine (4cyl).
The fan does not kick on, but if I pull the wire off the tempature sensor located next to the thermostat, it turns on ONLY when the car is up to temp.

Today i bought 2 parts from autozone.
Temp sensor Duralast part SU201
and a temp switch, Duralas TU25

I know where the temp sensor goes, but cannot find a diagram of where the temp switch goes, nor can I locate it anywhere on the engine.

Does anyone know where it would be located at? the thing is a little bit smaller than a bic lighter.

ahh found it. The tempature switch is located below the thermostat housing, on the engine block. You have to remove the thermostat housing to put the new one in..
