Ford Tempo The Ford Tempo is an American-built two-door coupe and four-door sedan produced by the Ford Company from 1984 to 1994. It was the successor to the Ford Fairmont, and was replaced in 1994 by the Ford Contour. The Tempo was part of a rejuvenation by Ford to offer more environmentally friendly, fuel efficient, and more modern styled models to compete with the imports.

Default 1994 tempo coil springs

hello people,,, I have a 94 tempo GL 2 door...rear coil spring broke...
The coil springs are sold in pairs, the GL cost 148.99 ...The rear springs on th e XL { 4 door } are 61.99.... The XL are cheaper cause its the same spring used in the taurus ... so I gambled and bought the XL springs. The XL springs looked the same as the GL perfect fit no problem .... maybe an inch higher in the rear because a stronger spring.... just thought I`d pass it along { F- Y- I } by people..........
