Ford Tempo The Ford Tempo is an American-built two-door coupe and four-door sedan produced by the Ford Company from 1984 to 1994. It was the successor to the Ford Fairmont, and was replaced in 1994 by the Ford Contour. The Tempo was part of a rejuvenation by Ford to offer more environmentally friendly, fuel efficient, and more modern styled models to compete with the imports.

Default 1987 Tempo overheats
Hello, I have an '87 Tempo 2.3L (I think) X motor that is overheating. I have replaced both sensors and the rad fan motor, about 6 mos ago. The thermostat is high temp, valucrap from Autozone and will need to be replaced again. The radiator isn't leaking and is full, and hasn't boiled over yet. The radiator fan motor isn't coming on. Is there a fuse or relay for it, and if so, where? Should I replace the sensors when I replace the thermostat because it overheated? My temp gauge went past the H.
