Default Ford Tempo Seatbelt Problem

The power seatbelts have been broken on my tempo for the longest time, and it keeps on making this horrible grinding noise every time I open and close the door. Does anybody know how to disconnect the power to the motor that runs the seatbelts?

You have to remove the cover on the side by the door and at the bottom of the belt is a connector, black in color, and you unplug it.

The track is a plastic strip with square holes and that can be replaced. Some how the track got twisted and chewed up and it keeps the belt from going back or forward and makes a horrible grinding sound.

My seat belt is stuck back and I can still use it.

Good Luck
