Ford ThunderBird Ford thought they'd take their own stab at the nostalgia business. There are quite a few last-century icons that wear the blue oval. For a revival subject, why not use a car famous enough to have been the subject of Beach Boys songs, starred in George Lucas movies, and has been gone long enough to be missed? Why not indeed. In 2002, the Thunderbird was reborn.

Default 93 Bird, A/C Compressor not engaging

New Member to Ford Forum. Have 93 bird A/C problems. Replaced compressor, heater A/C module, and still not engaging. All fuses good. Is their an A/C relay that may be bad? If so where is it located.

I don't know about a relay (I'll look into that today) but I know that my control module went for my fan. Try different fan speeds. Mine went on all fan speeds but fastest. Perhaps this is tied into your issue as well.

there are two cutout switches, one for high pressure and one for low
also you should check your freon level

Thanks, the freon must have been too low for thje compressor to kick on. I thought it would still at least run with low freon. Your solution worked great.
