Ford ThunderBird Ford thought they'd take their own stab at the nostalgia business. There are quite a few last-century icons that wear the blue oval. For a revival subject, why not use a car famous enough to have been the subject of Beach Boys songs, starred in George Lucas movies, and has been gone long enough to be missed? Why not indeed. In 2002, the Thunderbird was reborn.

Default 1967 Thunderbird Carburetor

Hi, I'm new to this forum. Just to let everyone know, I have a 1967 Thunderbird, and very little knowledge of car repair. I do however, have the ambition to learn.
Is there anything i should know about replacing my existing autolite 4300 carburetor, with a new aftermarket carb, such as a holley or edelbrock?
I really cant afford to mess up my car, since im on a limited budget.
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

You cant go wrong with either of those choices. However, If you are restoring this car to the original appeal, then however, it would take away from the originality IF you intend to show it as an original! If not, and your restoring it just for the sake of having a nice bird then you wouldnt be messing anything up by putting on eiter one of those! Good Luck
