Just to let everyone know my '96 Thunderbird caught fire last Friday. I had just gotten to work & they called me because there was a problem in the parking lot. Yes, it caught fire while it was parked I had just driven one(1) mile to work. I work at a school and was parked about 20ft from a classroom. At this point I didn't care about the car - it had a full tank of gas. My car only had 71,300 miles
on it which were all my miles and not once had it ever broken down. Low miles, perfect condition with only one ding, until the fire. The firemen said it was electrical
So beware.
