Ford ThunderBirdFord thought they'd take their own stab at the nostalgia business. There are quite a few last-century icons that wear the blue oval. For a revival subject, why not use a car famous enough to have been the subject of Beach Boys songs, starred in George Lucas movies, and has been gone long enough to be missed? Why not indeed. In 2002, the Thunderbird was reborn.
94 tbird sat for a while (year)always started first time think i was working on speaker system and cut wires going to inertia switch no idea how to connect them up again. There is power going in and out of the switch just golden clear wire is cut. Fuel pump works when jumped from battery otherwise lines have no pressure , fuel filter is good no idea where to start????
my 89 t-bird had the same problem...there is a red and there a white wire going to the inertia switch...just get a crimpt and put it back together...reset the car and push the switch back. The switch is in case of accidents, it shuts off all fuel supply so no fire. But just to let you know too...my bird also screwed up becuase the switch on top of the fuel pump (on top of the gas tank) was melted and only worked sometimes...i put a new one on and now it runs like a champ..never takes more than one second to start
