| Mustang II front suspension kit in a Torino? Has anyone actually put one of the Mustang II suspension kits in a Torino? I have a 68 GT Fastback that I am working on (slowly). The 390 has been rebuilt, but this thing handles like a boat at high speed. I want to upgrade to rack and pinion with power steering. I also have headers and am guessing I will need new ones, as these have some unique plumbing to fit in the existing engine compartment.
It's a shame when my 89 Mercury Tracer can out handle this car in the turns. I'm not expecting miracle handing from an old car like this but it would be nice to be able to safely take the turns without having to slow down so much. |

| Can't lower much as the headers just barely clear the ground as is. I have seen a few old Mustangs that have had this treatment, and now that it is available for the Fairlane/Torino I am itching to try it. Surely someone has some experience with these kits. |
