Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

I just bought a new van last night. it has the keyless entry pad on the drivers door but no one knows the code. ford wants alot of money to tell me and hook it up to their machine. is there any where in the car that it is listed? i head on the back side of a box mounted on the firewall? can some one let me know?

Technically, the ford dealer should be obligated to sell you the van and give you a plastic "credit card" that has the code written on it. Just complain to the dealer, after all you just spent several $1000's on a van that is supposed to have a keypad. Ford most likely has a database and if you have to call detroit, they should be able to mail a card out for very little $$$.

Good Luck
