Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default Drove van 1st time after engine swap. Questions!

1. Turning wheel the power steering pump makes a lot of noise when the wheel is being turned. It happens driving or stationary. I put in some Translube power steering cleaner. Could the sound be that the belt isn't on there straight?

2. The main pulley wheel off the crank seems to be moving weird. Like almost wobbly forward and back just a tad. My buddy was looking too and said I was seeing things.

3. The temp gauge stays in the middle like normally.

4. The engine does make a clicking sound but isn't shaking or leaking. The fluids are good.

5. I will get a video up of the sounds/and the belt.

1) The rack probably has an air pocket inside it, try turning the wheels lock to lock.

Default thanks again

Well I was watching the pulleys and the belt and I noticed that when idling the crankshaft pulley does in fact waiver back and forth like it's kind of wobbly but when I opened the throttle and revved it it straightened right up. I'm gonna take a video right now and post all this stuff up and see if you guys can diagnose my power steering sound, engine click (seems to be coming from inside the engine) and belt movement.
