Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default Transmission Filter Question

I'm in the middle of the transmission flush and I pull out the filter and seal is stuck in there. I'm trying to pull it out and the rubber starts to rip off. Whats the best way to get this sucker off?

In my chiltons manual it shows the guy using a small ass pair of needle nose. I just don't see where I could grasp onto it. It does have a warning say not to accidentally gouge the transmission parts so I just wanted to know what you guys do and if there is a easier method than using a pair of needle nose. Can't find mine either gonna have to buy another pair . DAMN TOOL GNOMES! I want all my shit back!
