Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default Steering Arms
Both sides of our '99 has toe in/out looseness. Judging by other brands, I expect the inboard joints of the steering arms are worn, and can be replaced without replacing the whole steering rack. Has anybody found a source for just the arms? I didn't find them on ebay. In fact, I didn't even see racks for the '99-00.

Are you talking about Inner Tie-rod ends? If you are then they can be replaced, however it requires a special long type socket tool.
