Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default Water bypass tube help

Hello all,
I got a big surprise today at the supermarket when my coolant started leaking. I had a hard time finding it. I think it is the water bypass tube but the bloody thing is going under the manifold.

The tube looks like it corroded through. Do I have to remove the manifold to get access to this tube or can I simply un-connect both ends and pull it through. The other question is where is the other side of this tube? I couldn't follow where the tube went since it goes under the manifold and I haven't developed xray vision yet.

I don't have much time to fix this right now so I am looking for a quick and dirty way to solve this problem. If I have to cut the tube at both extremities and put a hose in rather then take the manifold out I am all for it. It's winter here and I really don't feel like taking a manifold off unless there is no other choice.

If anyone has any advice I am all ears.

Thanks,
Tim
