Ford WindstarIntroduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.
I have a handheld scanner/code reader. It has live data and freeze frame. I was checking the IM status and every system is ok except the EVAP Mon is inc(omplete) and the EGR Mon is inc(omplete).
I just want to remind you guys that I am having trouble starting the van up after a refill, no matter what amount of gas I have in the tank when I go to fill up and no matter how much I put in it starts hard. I don't have to pump the gas pedal per se ( and I do hear the pump activate when I turn the key to ON position) but I do have to crank it a few times and it stumbles at first but quickly regains normal operations. I'm going to:
A. Change the fuel filter, I do believe it's been a while
B. Check the EVAP cannister and make sure it is seated properly and all hoses are intact
Does anyone know of a supplier that sells a whole hose set to replace all coolant hoses, vacuum lines etc?
