Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default Location of (ECT) engine coolant temperature sensor

Does anyone know where the engine coolant temperature sensor is on the 2003 Ford Windstar ?

on the 2003, if you are looking at the engine after opening the hood, its on the back side of the intake plenum, on the right hand side (drivers side), but i think to access it one needs to remove the cowling.

I found it... It's mounted on the right side of the intake next to the thermostat housing on my 2000 model.
