Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

look for anything obstructing (blocking) the door from closing. This was probably already done as the normal person would do this before replacing latches. Next would be to check that the metal piece that attaches to the latch isn't damaged or bent (the old, faulty latch could have bent the metal bar from slamming a closed latch on top of the bar) Also make sure the actual latch is functioning properly. Take a screwdriver, and see if you can get the latch to go in and latch closed. If not, go inside the door and make sure that the actuater, and push-rods (there's like 3 or 4 of them) are connected properly and aligned correctly. Expecially note the pushrod that goes to the door handle, if may be too tight, adjust (calibrate/align) it to function properly.

ahh, I think you mean the power sliding door... I thought you meant the normal passaenger door. If this is tru, try this. Disable power sliding doors (button on dashboard). The doors are now like manual sliding doors, close the door. Does it latch/lock shut? If so you need to calibrate your power sliding doors. The procedure should be in your owner's manual. Then you should be good. You will probably need to recalibrate every time you pull the battery out for an extended period of time.

I already have recalibrate 3 times it wil still not close ( the powersliding door indeed )
if you pull manual to open the door it will also will not go automatic (the other side will)
if you press the remote key again halfway open so it wil close it stops and wil go one with opening instade of clossing.
if it is compleet open, and pushing remote key to close you see the door close again a bit
not realy ofcorse opening
