Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default Can you re-program a remote?
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows how to reprogram the remotes. My brother gave me 2 remotes from his car that got totalled and I want to know if it can be done and how. Thanks for your advise in advance.

To re program a new remote you need to put the key into the ON position then you want to turn the key from OFF to ON counting each turn until you hit the 8th (possibly the 10th) time landing back at the ON position. You will know that your in programming mode from the locks all engaging ( you will hear it ). Now click the buttons on the new remote ( make sure you have a working battery ) and it should work fine.

if you are programing more then one remote you have to do them all at the same time cause it will erase any that is already programed in
