Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

You mean the inboard armrest? I'm pretty sure it's metric, 8mm, and probably a star head. It's straightforward; I pulled them to install sheepskins, and back on.

My guess is that the bolt that holds the armrest has come loose, which is why it has backed out. Unzip the upholstery covering the armrest to reveal a hole, which holds the bolt. Undo the bolt completely if not done already, attach/bring the armrset to the resting (horizontal) position and tighten the screw. The armrest has a stopper thingy (on the side that sits against the seatback); inspect to make sure it's not broken or you'll have to replace it. Hope this helps, buddy.
