Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default 1998 Windstar After Market Car alarm

I am in the middle of installing a car alarm/remote start system into my windstar. I have almost everything ready to go, except the door pin switches, the tach wire, and the siren. I can't wait to connect the Alarm controller and try it out.

I believe I can tap into an injector wire to get a pulse, so that's fine, but I cannot get the door pins under control. I found wires under the dash (on the GEM module I presume) that lead to the individual door pins, but I cannot find any wires that combine the door pins. (The alarm only has two zones...door and trunk) I'd rather not leave the passenger and sliding door unarmed, so what am I missing?
