Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Some on this forum may disagree, but if you are not up to spending the money, or taking the time to do the intake or head gaskets, I feel you have nothing to lose by trying a bottle of Barrs Leaks head gasket repair. I had the same problem and the "fix in a bottle" worked instantly and has held for several weeks now. It is apparently a new product for the company and it looks like copper flakes floating in suspension, not the black stuff found in their radiator repair product. Good luck!
