Ford WindstarIntroduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. I have a 1995 3.8L V6 it fires #5 and #6 cylinders at the same time, I have changed the PCM, all new injectors, changed ignition control module, and checked the wiring harness, any ideas or help would be great, thanks.
Not sure but try testing all your coils and see if they are doing the same thing. If they are then it is called waste spark. Instead of only one side of the coil firing for the cylinder that has fuel, both will fire at the same time. My neighbor use to work for the local chevy dealer garage and he told me about the waste spark systems. Hope this helps.
