Windstar Door light/Door Ajar/Dome light wont turn off HELP
Ford WindstarIntroduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.
If the switches are stuck they will need a good cleaning. I dont recommend WD-40 cause it attracts dust, I use silicone spray lubricant cause it dries dry.

Hello Ford Windstar owners...i tried almost everything and cant get the lights other than pull fuse.. now, even if fuse is in, the passenger window, now wont roll down(electric)...the funny thing it seems to have gotten worse
The in the door lock switches when stuck ON, go to ground. One way to determine which switch is the culprit is to open the door panel and disconnect it. It is a single wire to the bottom of the door lock mechanism, when disconnected if the light is on, that one is probably not the bad one. Ofcourse you could have more than one fail.
Good luck.
