Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default Weird error yesterday
I think I've seen a post about this before, but I couldn't find it on search.

I was stopped at my mailbox yesterday after driving about 10 miles home, and the brake light on the dash lit up. The mileage disappeared from the odomoter and it read - - - - - - - and the window where the error messages display said simply ERR.

I pulled into my parking spot, turned off the van, waited about 1 minute, turned it back on, everything back to normal.

Any ideas?

I would start by checking the brake pressure switch. It can develop a leak and cause problems as noted in your post. This switch is mounted under the brake master cylinder.

lol if it the milage reading error or -------- err or other speed sensor is going bad
