Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default 98 Winstar New Bat and Alt, still not charging

My 1998 Windstar 3.8l recently died on me. It wasn't charging the battery. So I replaced the dead battery and installed a new alternator but it still isn't charging.

Any Ideas?

check fuse 20 battery junction box(15amp),check for battery volage at the main wire at the alt. YE/WH and OG/LB at the small plug. These alternators are pcm controled so aftermarket alternators are not favored if you know what I mean.
