Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default 2001 Abs light & junkyard part??

Hello all, I have the same issue with my abs light coming on sometimes for miles and sometimes instantanously.I have read several articles dealing with this module. My question is could i go to the junkyard and buy a module from another 2001 windstar? Remove my unit and simply replace it with the junkyard special? I read somewhere there is some programming issues that can only be done at the stealership. If the module from the junkyard is in a working van wouldnt it already be programmed? If this does not work where can i buy a new module from? The stealership near me wants 1200.00 dollars to do the job..wtf?
