Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default Removing cup holder

Hello all. I'm new here. I have a 2000 Windstar and the paddles are broken off my front cup holders. How do I get the cup holder out of the dash so I can repair it?

Please, follow the attached pics to resolve your issue. The pics are courtesy of Broncojoe19 in the following thread but notes in pic2 are mine:

I ussually just jank mine out, wiggle it up and down and pull a tiny bit... it ussually pops right out... But I recommend using Broncojoe's "real" way to do it.

Thank you very much. It was easy once I knew how. I epoxied the paddles back on and just hope they hold. We'll see. THANKS again.

If it breaks again, being weight-bearing I think it would, buy a replacement at a junkyard; in fact, I would bank one now!

I used super glue then put 2 part mixed epoxy over the entire area on both sides of the breaks then after that dried, I put JB weld over the whole area. I think its as strong or stronger than when new. Again, we'll see. Thanks
