Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default Valuable Accessories

I'm on the hunt for a 2002 or 2003 SE or SEL in SoCalif. Wife wants leather, which is ok by me, and I want tow package, which seems to be rare.

Are there any accessories that you find particularly useful? Is the backup sensor helpful? BTW, I have seen reports on the aftermarket $140 backup camera that it is not very good.

My hail-damaged '02 Cargo Windstar with brand new windshield will be going cheap.

If you could back up your van before with out hitting anything you probably wont need the back-up sensor.

Good luck in your search. Did you try AutoTrader.com - Buy Used Cars, New Cars, Sell a Car, Find Car Dealers that is where I found the deal on my Vette I just bought and my 1998 Windstar ?
