Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Question 98 Rt. turn signal doesn't work sometimes
I just bought a 98 windstar, 2 days ago, "AS IS". On the way home I noticed the rt. turn signal doesn't work sometimes. When it doesn't work the green arrow light doesn't come on either and instead of the normal clicking noise it's supposed to make, it sounds kind of like a static like sound. I hope it's just a lose wire or something but not sure yet. Any suggestions?

It sounds like the blinker unit is bad. Not sure where it is located but pick up a repair manual (haynes/chilton) and replace it. That will probably solve your problem.
