Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

I having a problem with my 1999 ford windstar lx
The other day my ABS light came on, at the same time my AC, heater (fan works) and speedometer all quite working. Where are the fuses located for this? I throught I would start there.

I believe there are 2 fuse boxes. One inside the passenger compartment, under the dash on the left driver's side. Get your head close to the brake peddle, and look up and towards the side.

The second is the power distribution box. It's located in the engine compartment, close to the battery.

On the fuse block under the hood there are some fuses and under the dash on the drivers side.

Now I am sure your next question will be.... "What fuses should I pull?".... The ones labeled ABS or Brakes in your owners manual. Now if you had an owners manual you probably would have looked in there by now and got some fast answers. I am guessing you dont have an owners manual.

If you need a manual click here. http://www.ford-forums.com/engine-dr...rs-manual.html

I would suggest buying a Ford Service manual (cheap on Ebay), if you cant find one get a Chilton's manual, if you cant find one get a Haynes manual (Haynes is the worst).

Good luck!

Or if you had a test light you could check you could check every fuse in every fuse box. Without even pulling them out. Test with key on
You may find these circuits (ABS, A/C, Gauge) have no power being delivered to fuses. Then suspect the ignition switch.
