Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

Default electrical issue
I've got a 2000 Windstar SE that has weird electrical issues:
- When tilting the steering wheel, the interior lights occasionally come on.
- Warning lights (check engine, ABS, Brake, etc) come on randomly...they also go off after the car is shut off and restarted
- Cruise control would stop working for no reason (now it doesn't work at all)
- Brake lights periodically stop working.

I've checked fuses and light bulbs, but all look good. I also checked the wiring harness under the steering wheel. I can find nothing visually wrong.

Anyone have any ideas?
