Ford WindstarIntroduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.
Hi all,
I have a 2000 Windstar. This morning we found the passenger side brake light on with the car off. Checked fuse, ok. Weird thing is brake pedal switch appears to operate fine as driver side brake light operates as it should. Rear turn signals, running lights and back up lights operate ok.
Does the brake pedal switch operate each brake light independently? Also opened up the jack compartment to check the REM. No visible signs of moisture corrosion or bad wires.
