Ford WindstarIntroduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.
So just a quick diagnosis here.
I got my battery replace last September, and my car has been working fine since.
Last night it wouldnt start, so i had it jumped. After a few minutes it started and i had it running for about 1/2 hour then drove home. tried to start it again, but same thing.
Is it just a faulty battery? I didnt think it was the alternator because the car ran once it was started.
any ideas?
Thanks!
Autozone, Pep boys, Advance Auto can test both for free.... Do it!
It could be anything really, maybe the alternator is defective, or maybe the battery won't hold a charge... Get it tested first!!!

See if they'll put it on charge while you are there.

check the battery's water level, then try to jump start / charge it up. After that, then have it tested. Even maintenance free batteries have removable water caps.
