| 2000 Windstar sliding door lock The dirver's side sliding door makes loud noise when keyless remote or power lock buttton is used to lock doors. This also happens when the auto lock feature tries to lock the doors. The door locks but it make a loud noise as if the latch it rapidly hitting something before locking. Any ideas? |

I am having a similar problem but mine is trying to open the driver side door. Locks fine, but WILL NOT open with the keyless remote or the power lock button. I have to reach around and open it and it is not easy to do.
