Ford WindstarIntroduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.
2000 Windstar SEL - 69,750 miles.
Intermittent stalling - while driving at speeds @ 15/35 MPH.
after the engine is at idle and driver attempts to accelerate.
There is an O2 sensor bad - (shouldn't be related)
Found the forward IMRC control rod had made some marks in the intake. - bad / missing plastic plug on the rod end (!?) and flopping around
I unplugged the IMRC and took onto the Highway - 30 miles later no MIL. Drove @ town. Nothing - two days later - POP. Codes now read
P1519 IMRC stuck closed ( its still not plugged in)
P1000 OBDII Systems Incomplete - (easy one)
P0602 CTRL module programing
P0156 H02S21 CKT falut (o2 sensor is bad)
Module programming is what I am afraid of - not sure if there is a TSB relation. Curious if i need to replace module. There is a sticker from when previous owner had a re-flash complied with. ?
