Ford Windstar Introduced in the mid-1990s, the front-wheel-drive Ford Windstar minivan campaigned with an emphasis on, and reputation for, safety. And in the hotly contested family minivan market of the time, that was an especially solid piece of ground to be on. As long as buyers didn't need to haul adults in back on a regular basis, the Windstar served a family's needs just fine.

1) Parking pawl pin is wedge because vehicle is on an incline.

2) Brake interlock is not sensing that the brake pedal is applied or the solenoid if not disengaging. There is information in your owners manual on how to bypass this.

check if your brake light work/check fuses.

You csn turn the key forward til just before the lights come on in the dash,pull to nuetral and stsrt vehicle.Be very careful wehn doing this and backing up since you normally pull down 1 spot to back up since you started it in nuetral 1 spot down is drive.
